After a large number of public consultations by Birchwood Big Local across the whole of the Birchwood area of Lincoln. It became clear that the key need in the area was an increased in the number children’s play areas.
Along with Diamond Park, Staverton Crescent (Please see our Diamond Park page?) Jasmin Green was identified as the area most in need of facilities for young children.
Assisted by Birchwood Area Community Land Trust Limited (BACLT) and with the support of the City Council, discussions are taking place to develop a play area on the green.
